What a good house cleaner looks like
In Highland Heights, people hire house cleaners for recurring cleans, deep cleans, move-out cleans and getting the house ready before guests arrive. Before you let anyone in, look for:
- The same person (or team) every visit for recurring cleans
- A clear list of what's included and what costs extra (fridge, oven, windows)
- A background check, since they'll be in your home alone
- A neighbor who has had them for months, not just once
Questions to ask before you hire
- What does a standard clean include, room by room?
- Do you bring supplies, or use mine?
- What happens if you can't make a scheduled visit?
- Is a first deep clean required before regular visits?
Red flags
- Different strangers every visit with no notice
- No way to reach them except a personal social media account
- Asks for your alarm code or key on the first message
Seasonal tip for Highland Heights: Book a deep clean before Thanksgiving now. Good cleaners fill November weeks early.
