What a good lawn care pro looks like
In Covington, people hire lawn care pros for weekly mowing, leaf cleanup, mulching, trimming and seasonal yard work. Before you let anyone in, look for:
- A set weekly or biweekly schedule, not 'when we get to it'
- A clear price per visit for your lot size
- Fall leaf cleanup and spring cleanup quoted ahead of time
- Neighbors on your street they already mow for
Questions to ask before you hire
- Is it priced per visit or per season?
- Do you haul away clippings and leaves?
- What happens on rain days?
- Do you offer leaf cleanup and gutter clearing?
Red flags
- Wants the full season paid up front
- Can't say which day of the week they come
- No equipment of their own
Seasonal tip for Covington: Leaf cleanup slots fill fast in late October and November. Ask now and get on the schedule.
